Музеите в Пловдив и Пазарджик трябва да бъдат посочени като най-консервативните музейни институции в страната, тъй като те по никакъв начин и в наймалка степен са заинтересовани да показват популяризират и образоват гражданите с ценния фонд, който притежават и държат под ключ. Ако трябва тези големи музеи да бъдат своеобразни затвори за антики, то по-добре е те да не съществуват и да има само един археологически музей. С подобна политика се очертава и Националния исторически музей. За разлика т тези централизирани звена, други музеи като музея в Силистра например, поради своята маргинализираност и географска отдалеченост използва виртуалното пространство, за да популяризира своя ценен фонд от една от древния римски град и крепост Дуросторум. Както не е трудно да се забележи, оформят се две противоречиви тенденции.
Тук е показана една от малкото ценни находки в музея в Пловдив, които са достъпни виртуално. Представен е сребърен аплик на оръжие с изобразена на него богинята на победата с разперени криле и дълъг хитон на колесница, теглена от 4 коня.

A marble plate (0.55 x 0.48 m) with a dedication to the Thracian Heros with the byname Karabazmos, found in the town of Varna (the ancient Odessos), where there was a sanctuary of this deity. Before the pacing horse there is an altar with the depiction of a bull, next to the altar - a herma, and behing the altar - a female figure holding above her head a large dish with fruits - all of them being cultic activities performed in the sanctuary. The dedication was made from 21 members of a religious association headed by the priest Numenius, son of Zenis (III c. AD). Regional Museum of History - Varna

A votive tablet with a scene of the cult of Dionysus, found in the district of Plovdiv. Several stages of the wine production are depicted on the lower part of the relief: vintage, transportation, treading on and squeezing of the grapes. At the end, two figures traport the already ready wine in a big vessel. National Archaeological Museum - Sofia

A votive tablet of Heracles, 0.47 m high, found in the village of Madara, Shumen district. It depicts a bearded naked Heracles lying on a lion"s skin, holding a club in his left hand and a two-handled cup in his right hand. Three figures pour wine and water simultaneously in it. In the left end there is a small votive tablet depicting three nymphs, and in the right end - a tree with a snake wrapping itself around it.  Heracles is shows as taking a rest in a nymphs" scanctuary which indeed existed at Madara in the II-III c. AD next to the turbulent waters under the rocks. The frame of the relief contains the inscription:  "To the invincible Heracles". II c. AD. Madara Museum
