Thlaspi serpentinum D.V. Georg. sp.n.
Biennial or short-lived perennial, completely glabrous and glaucous plants 15-40 cm high, without stolons. Stem erect, usually with several ascending basal branches. Basal leaves rosulate, spathulate or obovate, 305x 0,31,5 cm, petiolate (0,5-2 cm); cauline leave 7-20 x 3-15 mm, ovate-cordate or obovate, with rounded amplexicaul aauricles; all entire or sinuate-dentate. Inflorescence strongly elongated in fruit. Flowers 40-70(90) in number. Sepals 1-2,5 mm long, with broad wide margins. Petals 3-6 mm long, white, spathulate or narowly obovate. Stamens shorter than petals; anthers yellow. Silicula 5-7(9) x 3-6 mm, narrowly to broadly obcordate with wing broadening upwards (wing 0,5-1 mm wide), convex beneath, with a distinct broad notch; apical notch of ripe fruit obtuse (~120 °) . Style 0,5-1,2 mm long, equalling or exceeding the notch of the ripe fruit.  Seed 3-4 in each loculus, smooth.

The new taxon differs from Thlaspi alipnum group, Thlaspi montanum L. and Thlaspi kovatsii Heuffel by the  lack of stolons and quite short braches. Thlaspi serpentinum is quitely divergent from Thlaspi alpestre group and Thlaspi praecox group.
